In Arizona, we know how to handle the heat, but when you’re capturing an extended family session with nearly 20 family members in 109-degree weather at 11am, it takes more than just sunscreen and water bottles. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing an incredible extended family session in Buckeye, AZ. Family members flew in from all over, including Scotland, for this special reunion, and despite the sweltering heat, the love and laughter were palpable.
